Biography

Henry Adoniram Swift was an American politician who was the third governor of Minnesota following the resignation of Alexander Ramsey. He would hold the record of the shortest serving governor of Minnesota, serving for only 188 days, until his record was broken by Hjalmar Petersen in 1937. Swift was a Republican.
