William A. Pile

William Anderson Pile was a nineteenth-century politician and minister from Missouri, as well as a general in the Union Army during the American Civil War. He was the governor of New Mexico Territory from 1869 to 1871 and the U.S. Ambassador to Venezuela from 1871 to 1874.
