Joseph Michael Lombardo is an American politician and former law enforcement officer serving since 2023 as the 31st governor of Nevada. From 2015 to 2023, he was the 17th sheriff of Clark County, capping a 34-year career in law enforcement. Lombardo is a member of the Republican Party.

James Warren Nye was an American attorney and politician. He was most notable for his service as Governor of Nevada Territory and a United States senator from Nevada.

Stephen F. Sisolak is an American businessman and politician who served as the 30th governor of Nevada from 2019 to 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, he served on the Clark County Commission from 2009 to 2019 and on the Nevada Board of Regents from 1999 to 2008. As of 2026, Sisolak is the last Democrat to serve as Governor of Nevada, and the only one elected in the 21st century.

Brian Edward Sandoval is an American politician, academic administrator, and former federal judge who served as the 29th governor of Nevada from 2011 to 2019.

Kenneth Carroll Guinn was an American businessman, academic administrator, and politician who served as the 27th governor of Nevada from 1999 to 2007. He previously served as interim president of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) from 1994 until 1995. Originally a Democrat, he joined the Republican Party before running for governor.

Robert Joseph Miller is an American former attorney and politician who served as the 26th governor of Nevada from 1989 to 1999. A member of the Democratic Party, he is Nevada's longest-serving governor. As of 2026, he is the last Democratic governor to be reelected, and is the most recent Nevada governor to have a lieutenant governor from the opposing party, having served with Republicans Sue Wagner and Lonnie Hammargren. Before ascending to the governorship, Miller was the 29th lieutenant governor of Nevada from 1987 to 1989.

Richard Hudson Bryan is an American retired politician and attorney who served as the 25th governor of Nevada from 1983 to 1989 and as a United States senator representing Nevada from 1989 until 2001. A Democrat, Bryan previously served as the state's attorney general and a member of the State Senate.

Robert Frank List is an American attorney and politician. A member of the Republican Party, he served as the 24th governor of Nevada from 1979 to 1983, as Nevada Attorney General from 1971 to 1979, and as Carson City District Attorney from 1967 to 1971. Currently List practices law in Las Vegas with the law firm Kolesar & Leatham, Chtd. He was the last Governor to serve from outside Clark County until Jim Gibbons' election. After his term ended, he became a supporter of the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository. List was defeated for re-election in 1982 by Nevada Attorney General Richard Bryan. He was the last Governor of Nevada to lose reelection until Democrat Steve Sisolak lost reelection to Republican Joe Lombardo in 2022.

Donal Neil "Mike" O'Callaghan was an American politician and educator who served as the 23rd governor of Nevada from 1971 to 1979. He was a member of the Democratic Party.
