Biography
Janet Mills was elected Governor of Maine in 2018 and re-elected in 2022, becoming the first woman elected governor of Maine. She previously served as Maine Attorney General for eight years. As governor, she expanded Medicaid, raised the minimum wage, and has been a vocal advocate for reproductive rights.
