Biography
Joe Lombardo was elected Governor of Nevada in 2022, defeating incumbent Governor Steve Sisolak. He previously served as Sheriff of Clark County (Las Vegas) for six years and gained national attention for his response to the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting. He is the first Hispanic governor of Nevada.
