Biography
Kathy Hochul became Governor of New York in August 2021 when Andrew Cuomo resigned, and was elected to a full term in 2022, becoming the first woman elected governor of New York. She previously served as Lieutenant Governor, U.S. Representative, and Erie County Clerk. She has focused on housing, public safety, and climate.
